Indianapolis was so much fun.  Edward, Jacqueline and Jacob with their friends, Nigel, Ethan and Walker from Pennsylvania competed in this years beef cookoff at Hereford Junior Nationals.  As you can see the children played the skit of Start Wars and sending Jacob off in the spaceship was so much fun.  The recipe tasted great.  We learned a lot about a beef cookoff.

Attached is a very interesting article about footprints of how far some meat travels.  I still believe local is better. Farmers work very hard to support their local community with an excellent product.  When you shop through your local farmer you also are supporting your own community, what a great way to help your local economy.  Sometimes the math doesn’t always have to come out perfect.

When you shop through your local Farmer you are also building relationships and networks of people.  That is important in life.  Eat local and Fresh it is better for you.
